I love marketing because it’s creative. It’s exciting. It’s ever changing. It’s telling stories. It’s understanding human behaviour and motivation. And when it’s done well it can be so powerful. And magical.

My Story

My journey into marketing began when I went to Leeds Uni, did some studying (and some partying) and fell in love with my studies around psychology and human behaviour. After finishing uni, I went to work in PR in London and after a few years realised I wanted to do a few less press releases and inject more creativity and brand work into my days. I enjoyed a few years as a marketing manager for a large National Insurance company followed by becoming a self employed marketing consultant for various brands. But what I always wanted was my own marketing agency.

That dream became a reality in August 2009 with Maze Media.

10 years later

Today I am the founder and CEO of the Maze Group, a group of creative agencies specialising in niche areas of marketing and business.  

Since 2009 we have developed To The End (Content Marketing), Maze Media (Branding and Design), Fluential (Influencer marketing), WXVE (film studio), Hut42 (Development), Optimyzd (Paid), TLNT (Influencer Management), Love By 20a (Wedding Stationery) and Worx Gear (Outdoor Clothing), recently selling our first group business, Hut42.

Over the past 10 years I have worked with brands of all sizes, from startups to large global businesses and have been very lucky to have been able to share my experiences as a Public Speaker.
